The participant of the Erasmus+ program, college teacher Lidiia Romanyshyn, at seminars held in Spain and Austria actively discussed important environmental themes and ways of increasing environmental awareness of society through education. Having gained the experience in implementing the wastes sorting practice at the household level, she successfully applies it to her work at the college, initiating new environmental projects and activities for students within the framework of this program.
Students participate in lectures, seminars and interactive activities where they learn about importance waste sorting importance and its impact on the environment. 🌍 One of the steps on the way to become “greener” was the appearance of new waste sorting bins!
Lidiia Romanyshyn is going to give a presentation of the college work as part of the Erasmus+ program in Jelgava, Latvia. This will be another step to spread ecological ideas and involve more and more people to our Planet preservation.
The Director of the college, Doctor of Biological Sciences Yurii Chernevyi emphasized: "With joint efforts, we will make our college cleaner and more comfortable! Sorting wastes is a necessity for everyone today. Thanks to such work, students become conscious citizens who take care about the environment."
We hope that our example will inspire other institutions and organizations to take environmental initiatives!
